Context: Currently working on designing and manufacturing an electric motor driven golf cart to be sold to the privately owned industrial sector. The customers require a six seat capacity vehicle. The final product will be tested under international standards, which is the ANSI-NGCMA 130.z.
Actions:
• A ladder frame chassis is being used for the final concept
• The framework of the body has been finalized, CAD drawings of which are available
• DC motor is being as the source of mechanical input for locomotive
• Batteries being used are 12V batteries, complying to the specifications of the motor
• Material selection using CES and using FAST (Function Analysis System and Technique) diagram to achieve the final result
• HyperMesh and ANSYS for analysis of the durability of the chassis
